Does anyone even read bio pages?
Who am I?  I am a musician who simply can't get enough of playing out. Yes... even when I'm tired and even after playing both a Fri. and Sat. night I'd rather be on stage than anywhere else in the world other than with my family... oh... and work, assuming my boss is reading. I've got years to rest when I won't be able to do this anymore, so the more I can do this now, the better. I love the live crowd and the response we get from people.
I have enjoyed years of playing with some very talented musicians and performers and I look forward to bringing what I've learned from them and my own experiences to every show we do. Don't believe me? Come to the next show on the schedule and see if I'm kidding, and I mean that. If I slack I give you full permission to come up on the stage and kick Mr. Kev Kev's butt.
I have a couple of endorsements (uncompensated as they might be) to share with you:
- I use Ibanez basses exclusively. I have not found another bass with the weight and feel that the Ibanez brand has managed to create and continue to make over a number of years.
- I use Ernie Ball Blue Steel strings. These are cryogenically frozen strings that have awesome tone and put up with quite a lot of abuse from me and they still maintain their sound and strength.
- My picks are Dunlop 1.5mm, gator grips. Why gator grip? Try it and you'll figure it out. Many fewer dropped picks over the course of several shows.
- I almost never need an amp on stage anymore with my in-ear monitor system, but Hartke makes a great kickback style bass amp that I have used and I still love it.
- If you are in need of microphones or an in-ear monitor system, you really cannot go wrong by selecting Shure brand equipment. Just saying the name really says it all.
 I suppose there is also the need for the gratuitous likes and dislikes...

- Video Games - I still don't let my kids win!!! They'll have to beat me fair and square!!!

Dislikes (oh... this could be fun, but I'll restrain myself):
- Elitist wannabe-intellectual know-it-alls
- Hot
- Cold
- People who complain about it being too hot and/or too cold
- Hypocrites (uh-oh) ;-)
- Public toilets
