Rabid Aardvarks
Seriously... how do we even begin to describe Gee Fest (pronounced with a heavy "g" as in GREAT)... This won't serve the event and all the people there any real justice, but we'll try...

Gee Fest could easily and appropriately be renamed "OH MY G*D FEST"! This was an all-day event with mud pits, ATV's, monster trucks (or darn near the equivalent) and food, food, food, drinks, drinks, drinks and an awesome family in the Gee's and their workers and their friends and their families and their friends' friends and so on and so on and so on.

This show didn't start slow at all.  These folks were set and ready to party.  They may not have been sure of what to expect right away, but they quickly figured out that we're just like them and the party started hard and fast and didn't end even as we were packed up at the end of the night.

We had stage-diving, a wet and wild... scratch that... INSANE wet t-shirt contest... We had an incredible fireworks show put on by Shawn and his family.  We had Brooke join us on stage to play bass twice during the night (Brooke is only 15, but turning 16 in 2 months... she wanted to make sure we knew that she was almost 16... AWESOME job Brooke and thanks!), and then a whole crew of people to sing a song with us that we've never played before.

We even had a marriage proposal by Cassie on the stage to her long-time boyfriend, David, and he accepted!!!  Congrats to David and Cassie on your engagement.  We're happy that we could be any part of that.  Let us know when you end up planning the wedding date!

We're also happy and thankful to Shawn, Roger and the entire Gee family for having us.  And YES... we would love to do it all over again.  Anytime.  Everytime!

Thanks to Annie for singing with us the whole night long! And we can't forget to thank our incredible crew!  Thanks to Dan, Mike and Troy (Troy is responsible for all the pictures, by the way).  Awesome working with you guys again!

The photos that are in the 4 galleries are only about 500 of over 3000 that were taken.  We have about
1800 pictures available on the Rabid Aardvarks' MySpace.  Only what is fit to print and show in public, we promise.  When you visit the MySpace page, you will probably be asked to login.  If you aren't already a MySpace member, it is easy, free and perfectly safe so go for it.  If you aren't a MySpace friend already, send us a friend request and we'll add you ASAP!

Well... that's the best we can do right now for our writeup of one of the most incredible parties/shows ever.  If that's not enough, the pictures tell a good portion of the story, too, even though we can't show you all of them.  YAY!
